I'm Charles Lyons and I am running for Will County Coroner.  On behalf of our committee, my family and myself it is my sincere privilege to ask for your help, support and your vote. Thank you for taking the time to visit my website.  It's my hope that your visit here will answer some of the questions you may have as to who I am, my experience, and what my views and goals are for this office if elected.  As the Will County Coroner, I will make sure that ALL deaths are investigated, not glanced over.  Regardless, of who is connected, what race, gender, or sexual orientation the deceased is.  I will form a death investigation team, to investigate suspicious deaths, to give several eyes looking over cases that there may be something more than an actual or natural cause of death.  I will be an advocate for domestic violence issues, as many of the family members of victims of such crimes, need further assistance, such as, counseling or support groups, long after the Coroner's job is done.  I will give my deputies the training they need, to investigate the deaths in Will County, so that errors, like what happened in the Savio case will not occur on my watch. I will give the office of the Coroner a heart.  A caring Elected Official, that will speak for those that can no longer speak for themselves.  That is what they deserve is a voice, that answers the simple questions, why you died, how you died, who was responsible for your death, these questions the current Coroner has failed to ask or answer.  Through hard work, fiscal responsibility and traditional conservative values we can make a difference; I think together we can make Will County a safer place for our children, then it was for us.   Sincerely, Charles L.
